Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Veredit, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using Veredit.
License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Download and install Veredit on your devices
- Use Veredit for your personal or commercial development work
- Receive updates and support as described in your plan
Use Restrictions
You agree NOT to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble Veredit
- Remove or modify any proprietary notices
- Use Veredit for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
- Use automated systems to access Veredit without permission
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Veredit
Intellectual Property
Our Intellectual Property
Veredit and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Veredit and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Content
You retain all rights to the code and content you create using Veredit. We claim no ownership over your work. Veredit does not access, store, or transmit your source code to our servers.
Important Notice About Third-Party Code
Veredit is built on top of open-source components, including a fork of VS Code's core. While Veredit provides similar functionality to VS Code, it is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft Corporation. "Visual Studio Code" and "VS Code" are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation.
Accounts and Security
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
Payments and Subscriptions
Free Tier: Veredit may offer a free tier with limited features. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time.
Paid Plans: Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly/yearly). Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Price Changes: We may change our pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Disclaimers
VEREDIT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Merchantability
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy, reliability, or availability
- That the service will be uninterrupted or error-free
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VEREDIT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from your use or inability to use Veredit
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Third-party conduct or content
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Veredit harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of Veredit, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to Veredit immediately, without prior notice, for:
- Breach of these Terms
- Non-payment of fees
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Any reason at our sole discretion
Upon termination, your right to use Veredit will immediately cease. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
Governing Law

Dispute Resolution
